Did you know?

The 2008-09 budget provides $54.1 million base funding plus an additional $35 million to upgrade TMS highways and expand access to Primary Weights on rural highways.

The manual is to be used in the preparation of material requisitions. The Specifications for Manufactured Materials (SMM) can be used as part of the requisition. Information contained in the SMM does not have to be repeated in the Purchase Order Requirements. Anything identified but not covered in the SMM should be stated in the Purchase Order Requirements. The purchaser should review the SMM carefully to ensure all conditions apply and specifically that all items relating to Quality Assurance, Measurement, Delivery and Payment apply. If any changes or additions are required they should be added to the Purchase Order requirements.
