The 2009-10 budget ensures the safety and security of motorists by committing $45 million to replace and rehabilitate aging bridges and culverts, including $10 million to begin replacing the St. Louis Bridge.

Jim Reiter was the long time administrator for the Rural Municipalities of Marriott and Pleasant Valley.

Professionally, Mr. Reiter has extensive experience in municipal governance.  He has served as Director, Vice-President, and President of the Rural Municipal Administrators' Association (RMAA), as well as Executive Director.  He has held numerous committee appointments for the RMAA including:  Disciplinary (Chair), Board of Examiners, Board of Reference, and Salary Negotiations (Chair).

Rob Penny, P.Eng is the Deputy Minister of Highways and Infrastructure. As a civil engineer, he spent his 30-year career working in transportation and policy programs.

George Stamatinos is the Assistant Deputy Minister, Policy and Programs Division. As such, he must deliver leadership on all aspects of transportation policy for Saskatchewan's transportation system.

Terry is the Assistant Deputy Minister of the Operations Division at the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure.

Ted Stobbs is the Assistant Deputy Minister, Corporate Services.
