The Transport Compliance Branch has approximately 60 officers throughout the province. Their role is to enforce commerical vehicle laws and protect our infrastucture.

Goals:
- To develop a transportation plan for the north central region by bringing together elected municipal representatives, producers, and business stake holders, thereby gaining a greater knowledge of regional transportation issues and becoming involved in transportation decision making into the 21st century.
Objectives:
- To increase the knowledge base on transportation opportunities, concerns, and priorities giving stakeholders the opportunity to participate in an open dialog/ communications process.
- Engage stakeholders in an open planning process that results in an adaptive and flexible transportation system.
- Working with stakeholders, North Central Transportation Planning Committee will develop and implement solutions that addresses concerns, priorities, and opportunities in the transportation system.
