Goals:

  • To provide information and direction that maximizes the contribution of a safe transportation system to the social and economic well being of the area.
  • To communicate and consult openly and effectively.

Objectives:

  1. To develop and maintain a comprehensive transportation plan that considers infrastructure and services as the component parts of the transportation system and establishes priorities for the area while ensuring stakeholder interests are considered.
  2. Continually review any short-term problems and opportunities that may exist for improving and/or enhancing the transportation system.
    To identify pertinent stakeholders and establish formal dialogue mechanisms to inform and consult with those stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  3. To develop a continuous dialogue with other Area Transportation Planning Committees.

Working together to plan an effective transportation system that supports the current and future economic and social needs of our area.
