Goals:
To provide information and direction that maximized the contribution of a safe transportation system to the social and economic well being of the area.
To communicate and consult openly and effectively.
Objectives:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive transportation plan that considers infrastructure and services and the component parts of the transportation system and establishes priorities for the area while ensuring stakeholders interests are considered.
To continually review any short term problems or opportunities that may exist for improving and/or enhancing the transportation system.
Identify pertinent stakeholders and establish formal dialogue mechanisms to inform and consult with those stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
MISSION
To establish a vehicle for the development and evolution of transportation planning into the 21st century for the central area.
