Highway 7 Twinning Construction (Vanscoy to Saskatoon), Summer 2015

Under the Saskatchewan Plan for Growth, the Government of Saskatchewan is committed to investments like twinning and passing lanes that increase capacity, enhance traffic flow and improve safety.

Highway 7, as part of the National Highway System, links Calgary and Saskatoon and with increasing volumes of interprovincial traffic, including truck traffic. It is also an important commuter route from Delisle to Saskatoon.

A 110 km/hr posted speed corridor will be constructed to accommodate increasing traffic volumes and address safety concerns.

Another public information session was held on Thursday, October 29 in Vanscoy to provide access options and gather feedback. Comment sheets can be found below and submitted to the engineering consultant.
