A safety review is underway for Highway 3 and the intersection of Highway 55 at Shellbrook.

The first open house was held on June 19, 2013 with the purpose to provide information on traffic volumes, collision statistics, projected areas of growth and other current traffic information, and to gain your feedback on existing concerns or other issues. The information is being used to identify immediate, short, and long-term transportation needs.

A second open house was held on October 30, 2013 to present recommendations and get further feedback.

The Ministry of Highways and infrastructure has hired the consultant MMM Group in partnership with the Town of Shellbrook and RM of Shellbrook.
